Ryan and I decided to make this Christmas season extra special by selecting 12 mini dates to go on between now and Christmas Eve, "The Twelve Dates of Christmas."
Rockstar Diaries did this last year and I just loved the idea! Like so many people we've had to cut our gift budget way back this year, and I think adding these fun inexpensive dates will be even more special than a gift under our Christmas tree.
For our first date of Christmas we went with our friends Martin and Mollie and bought our Christmas tree! It was a fun way to spend Sunday morning, and then we decorated the tree in the evening just the two of us (well Nellie helped too). All day dates are the best. I'll post pictures from our tree decorating later today.

I absolutely love the idea of the 12 dates of Christmas, like many people I can get into the work zone and find it difficult to peek out of it so I might have to follow suit and organise some dates. Thanks for sharing!!
