Making Group Par

5.28.2012

Happy Memorial Day friends; I hope you're spending the day enjoying some grilled food and fireworks. I just wanted to pop in and share some photos from a date night Ryan and I had with Austin and Katie on Friday. The four of us went putt putting and I have to say it was way too much fun.
We decided not to compete as teams but instead play two non-competitive rounds of putt putt and it was probably the best decision we could have made because none of us were exactly stellar on the course. I finally remembered to bring my camera on a social outing so there are fun pictures to share!
I kind of loved the cheesy safari animals that were every where. And we all thought it was pretty funny that every single hole was par 2, what happened to "variety is the spice of life?" We only have two
Putt Putt courses in town and this one is in the middle of a couple strip malls so I probably shouldn't hold it to such high expectations huh?

Each of us took turns keeping score, but we were all talking so much we forgot to keep track of our strokes on a lot of holes and had to end up guessing. Ryan ended up making two hole-in-ones on the first course and I made one hole-in-one on the second course. Add that to a bunch of 5 stroke holes and none of us came anywhere close to par. We did all manage to make the same score on a couple of holes, thus the group par. I can't wait to have more outdoor get togethers with Katie and Austin. They're pretty swell. big kiss, bekuh

  11. I LOVE putt putt! When we were little my brother would always get mad and whack my ball out of the park. Slightly competitive.
