I am starting a new job in two short weeks. There, I've said it. It feels good to share this officially, I guess, because it makes it more real in a way. I'm no longer going to be an admission counselor, traveling the country, working 24/7, and at the university's beck and call. I will be starting a new position as the office manager and designer sidekick to the owner at Press Press Merch a screen printing company a mere 7 miles from my house.
I'm so excited to start this new chapter in life and all the changes it will bring with it. I'll get to stretch my design muscle by helping the owner work on some of the small design projects, learn the ins and outs of bookkeeping, work on invoices, and general office administration. I'll also be moving from an all-female office to an all-male one which will require it's own learning curve. All of this makes me a really happy girl and I'm excited to share more as I begin work and in the months to come as I settle in.
