Wedding Week: The Ceremony Part One

10.26.2011

I often find myself talking of dreams and childhood when I describe my wedding to people. Things like, "since I was a little girl..." and "I had always dreamed," come pouring out uncontrollably. I wanted to start this post with something along those lines and stopped. I think it's wonderful that our wedding fullfilled those childish desires and long-time dreamt expectations, but it was so much more than that. As I walked down the aisle, in the freezing cold, I looked at my father and I looked at Ryan and I was no longer the little girl dreaming but a woman living my dreams.

I love this last picture of my Dad and I it closes todays post perfectly. In one picture all the expectations of the following moments are summed up as my parents prepare to release me to my husband and I become a part of a new family that consists of just Ryan and I. big kiss, bekuh

Tomorrow we'll continue with the ceremony and if you missed the first two days of wedding week check them out here and here. (All pictures taken by Jim Berton & edited by Rebekuh Browning unless otherwise noted)
