2012 Goals

I've decided the easiest way for you and I to keep up with my 2012 goals would be a handy little side category that you can check back to with me over the course of the year to see my progress first hand. I'm going to try my hardest to keep up with tracking my goals and sharing where I'm at on the blog every three months or so. I've broken up my 2012 goals into three categores: life, home, and store. 
Life Goals:
1. Learn how to fully use the manual setting on my camera
2. Launch the Button Factory online
3. Take at least three weekend trips with Ryan (1: Cville 2: Camping 3: DC)
4. Buy an old bike & fix it up
5. Design the first Button Factory jewelry line
6. Redecorate the studio
7. Start a new family tradition with Ryan
8. Read more
9. Take a class (Pilates)
10. Sew a Summer dress (bought the pattern)
11. Take a thrifting adventure with Katie
12. Fill a sketchbook
13. Throw a crafting party for friends
14. Plant a bigger garden and not kill it
16. Make more time for friends (new&old)
17. Use a cookbook recipe every week
18. Exercise more
19. Find a new mixed drink I enjoy
20. Finish the Button Factory Business Plan
21. Buy more vinyl (we've already bought 15+ new albums)
22. Complete the living room redecoration
23. Create new art every month
24. Laugh so hard I cry, often
25. A secret goal I'll hopefully reveal in 6 months, fingers crossed

Goals for the Home:
1. Finish the Living room redecoration

5. Buy rugs for the kitchen, and living room

9. Fix the paint spots on our bedroom ceiling
10. Buy a piece of art
11. Finish hanging art in Dining room
12. Finish hanging art in hallway
13. Buy shelving units for closet
14. Fix up my closet
15. Buy towel hooks for bathroom
16. Finish lamp projects
17. Plan garden for summer
18. Buy flowers for the house more often
19. Fix pillow shams in Living room
20. Find a new dresser for our bedroom
21. Recover studio chair

the Button Factory Goals:
1. Finish the Button Factory business plan
2. Incorporate
3. Launch our online store
4. Build website
5. Design the first jewelry line for the Button Factory
6. Buy our font from myfonts
7. Develop our branding scheme
8. Get our tax ID
9. meet with an accountant
10. Open a business account
11. Research loans for brick and mortar store
12. Create shipping sample
13. Organize inventory in a traceable way
14. Develop marketing scheme
15. Collect 200+ vintage pieces
16. Buy display pieces for store
18. Do a photo shoot with just Katie
19. Do product photo shoots for each season
20. Go to at least one estate sale each month
21. Buy product tags and stickers
22. Share more about the store through social mediums
23. Build photo props inventory
24. Research potential store locations
25. Find a vendor for our sign and lettering
