Guess where I've been for the last two days, NYC! Late last week the office decided to send me with our buyers to bridal fashion week, and I spent Monday traipsing around the city to appointments with designers. Lucky for me we were also hosting a press event on Tuesday, so I stayed overnight with our PR manager to attend that event as well. They decided to have us stay over at the Ace Hotel for the evening, and I was excited to say the least. I've wanted to check out these hotels for ages!
I didn't really get to spend any time exploring the hotel, due to our busy schedule, but it was still a really neat experience for my first overnight work trip. The rooms at the Ace are all uniquely charactered, and the whole place has a cool dive-bar kind of vibe. The lobby practically turned into a night club by 10pm, and the two restaurants on site looked (and smelled) amazing. I definitely want to check-in again, and get the full experience some time.
I feel like I learned so much in the last two days about our company, the different publications we work with, and just how fun my job can be! I'll probably be tired for the next week, but it was totally worth it. How's your week shaping up? big kiss, bekuh
