It's been about 8 months now since I made a serious commitment to learn more about photography and I am head over heels in love with it all. I get giddy when I get to snap a few pictures, and feel all gooey inside capturing little moments so easily forgotten in the day to day. Even when I have loads and loads of photos to edit I sit back and think how fun it will be to transform these moments into even more captivating snapshots of life. I still have so much to learn and that is the best part! big kiss, bekuh

I've been trying to take more too :) I shoot mainly in AV mode now but I think I'm going to venture into manual this weekend! I have so much to learn too. My husband even knows how to shift the focus (AF Point Selection) around now...pretty cute! haha. ♥Lindsay
ReplyDeleteI keep promising myself I am going to learn how to do more with my camera but I never seem to find the time. Maybe I just need to ban myself from any type of auto mode, then I'd have to learn fast xo
ReplyDeleteCapturing those little insignificant moments really is the best feeling. :)
ReplyDeletei'm loving watching your photography skills evovle...i'm curious, what do you use to edit pics? photoshop seems so expensive, and not quite in my budget right now. I wonder if it's really the only way to go though. i just booked a photog class (thanks livingsocial!) for DSLR beginners, i'm pretty excited about it :)
ReplyDeleteEach day I get into photography a bit more, and blogs like yours are quite inspiring and make me want to get better, so thanks for the motivation! ♥ xx
ReplyDeleteso i have this really fancy camera... yet i REALLY dont know how to use it. my goal is to spend some serious time this weekend figuring it out! thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeletei love taking photos too. i HIGHLY suggest learning how to use your camera on manual if you haven't - you can adjust for things like black dogs, or if you want it a bit darker. 365 day projects are great too - i've done two and they helped me learn so much

i just started blogging and am really considering taking photography classes. It's something that I am just beginning to discover and can see it really becoming a great passion. Your pictures are gorgeous too! It's so nice to see other bloggers out there who are still learning and not pros right off the bat.

I'm trying to be more committed with taking pictures. In high school, I went out all the time with my crappy camera but I seemed to have lost that habit since then. I really want to get a dslr camera and get back into it ...maybe for Christmas ;)
