A couple of weekends ago Ryan and I had the chance to hike with our new friends Mollie and Martin. We were beyond thrilled to have a little one on one time with this awesome couple and started the day off with a short drive and a good hike up Dragon's Tooth located just 20 minutes from where we live.
Here they are; Awesome #1 and Awesome #2. They are way more fit than we are and way more prepared. Just look at those happy faces!
Ryan and Martin braved the heights and I chilled out with Mollie (she's a little afraid of cliff edges). We had lots of good conversation and pretty much talked about food the entire time. Who doesn't love to talk about food?
I was secretly very happy for the hike because I got to try out some new boots I thrifted just a week prior. You may remember me mentioning Dragon's Tooth on the blog before because that's where Ryan proposed to me! You can read about it here. The picture of us above is about as sweaty and deshelved as the one from last May, ha.
It was a perfect day that stretched into a wonderful night filled with homemade soup and wonderful hospitality by Martin and Mollie. Great people often make for great adventures. big kiss, bekuh
