There are some things in life that make me cry inexplicably and one of those "things" is lost cities. I am overwhelmed sometimes to visit my native Cleveland and see it becoming more and more a shattered place full of ghost industry and the wandering few. Though Cleveland is not totally lost, the opulence of the early 20th Century that saw the city booming is in fact a distant dream. Alas, Cleveland is one of the lucky ones. I stumbled across Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre's website today and found the forgotten architectural treasures of Detriot. I will share a few photos with you that make me mourn for Detriot... and maybe cry a little.

Those are beautiful pics!
